Reusable Crochet Water Balloons!

These are SO fun!  If you have kids (or even if you don't) odds are you have enjoyed a water balloon fight or two in your life.  A great way to have fun and cool down on a hot day but regular balloons hurt when you get hit with them and then there is the mess.  These are a great solution for all your water balloon woes. These are machine washable, reusable again and again, and fun to play with even when dry.  My three boys have done everything humanly possible to test destroying these.  They were left in standing water for I'm not sure how many months, found in the dirt, leaves and other yard waste when raking in the fall, and frozen to the ground in the winter.  The only way they have been destroyed was an unfortunate run in with the lawn mower and that was my husband's fault! Butterfly Corner to Corner Blanket

Completed blanket with one "hidden" Butterfly Crochet for me is an outlet for creativity but it is also a way to support the causes that I love.  This blanket is one example.  It is a corner to corner pattern with butterflies that I created for the Turner Syndrome fundraising walk held in Minneapolis annually.  I’ve made two of these blankets so far and each one makes me feel happy.  The corner to corner pattern is fast to build up, aka fast rewards, and seeing the butterflies pop out of the background is super satisfying.  The comments I received from the bidders was probably the best part aside from raising the most money for a single item at the auction.
